How can I design t-shirts with AI?

Describe your t-shirt in plain words in the studio and get a photorealistic image of the design, with no design software and no sample.

On this platform the AI does the design and visualisation work and a human pattern maker cuts the pattern. That split is deliberate. How the pattern is made.

Fabric, color, fit, the details that make it yours. Up to 300 characters.

Design for a t-shirt

A design render turns a written description of your t-shirt into a photorealistic image, so a silhouette, a neckline or a pocket can be judged before anyone cuts cloth.

Name the length, the fit and the neckline first; those three decide whether a t-shirt reads right on a body.

Cotton jersey is the safest cloth to name for t-shirts; polyester jersey gives a less expected result.

What you get

A photorealistic image of the t-shirt, back in seconds, that you can refine in the same conversation.

Step by step

  1. Say who the t-shirt is for and where it will be worn.
  2. Give the cloth, the color and the one detail that matters most: a neckline, a pocket, a hem.
  3. Ask for one change at a time and compare the versions.
  4. When the design is settled, keep it in a collection and move on to photos or a pattern.

A common mistake

Describing ten details at once: the image honours some and drops others. Two or three per request work better.

Cloths to name when you describe t-shirts

Cotton jersey
A classic pairing, 140 to 220 g/m²
Single jersey
A classic pairing, 140 to 200 g/m²
Stretch velvet
Common, 220 to 300 g/m²
Polyester jersey
Common, 120 to 180 g/m²

The t-shirt, in numbers

A t-shirt is cut from knit jersey in a few pieces: front, back, two sleeves and a rib neckband. Its quality shows in the weight of the jersey, a neckband that keeps its shape and a twin-needle hem.

Defining details
Crew or V-neck, set-in or dropped shoulder, rib neckband, twin-needle hems
Key measurements
Chest, shoulder width and length

Typical figures for an adult size M. The pattern tier is set from the real piece count when you order.
