What is Smasher Studio?
Smasher Studio is an AI production studio for fashion brands. From a sentence or a photo of a garment it makes product images, on-model shots, flat sketches, colorways and short videos. When a design is settled, a professional pattern maker cuts the production DXF pattern a factory can read, from $29 a garment.

On this platform the AI does the design and visualisation work and a human pattern maker cuts the pattern. That split is deliberate. How the pattern is made.
Try it on one of your garments
Upload a photo of a piece you already make and see it on a model, as a ghost-mannequin shot or as a flat sketch.
Two free renders, shared across all our tools. No account.
What the studio makes
Two halves, made by different hands. The first half is visual, and it is the half a machine does well:
- Product images: a garment on a model, on a ghost mannequin, or laid flat, from your own photo.
- Design work: a garment drawn from a description, colorways of an existing piece, views from every angle.
- A flat sketch and a garment brief from a photograph.
- Six garment proposals from one photo of a fabric.
- Short videos of a garment in motion.
The second half is the production pattern. When a design is settled, the order goes to a professional pattern maker, who cuts the pattern and returns DXF files in the AAMA/ASTM format that factory cutting systems read. A pattern encodes ease, seam behaviour, stretch and grain; none of that can be recovered from a picture, which is why a person draws it.
From a design to a file a factory can cut
- Describe the garment in the studio, or start from a photo on one of the tools, and iterate until the design is settled.
- Order the pattern. The fee is set by the number of pieces, classified by our system and shown before you pay: $29, $59 or $129, first revision included.
- A pattern maker claims the order and delivers the DXF to your projects. Grading ($15), a factory tech pack ($10), a marker ($10) and seam allowances ($5) can be added to the same order.
- Take the images and the pattern to the factory of your choice.
Who it is for
Designers launching a first collection, small labels that need images every week, and established brands that want patterns without hiring a pattern room. Everyone works on the same terms and the same prices.
The company
Smasher Studio is an independent studio registered and operated in France. It is the trading name of an entrepreneur individuel (micro-entreprise) based in Paris, SIRET 989 628 607 00016; the full legal notice is on the mentions légales page.
The company is paid for the platform, in credits and subscriptions. On a pattern order the fee goes to the pattern maker who cuts it, in full minus the card processing fee: no commission and no margin on that leg. There is no marketplace of 3D artists behind the studio; renders come from the studio itself and patterns from professional pattern makers.
Questions
How does Smasher Studio make money?
From the platform: credits and monthly subscriptions. The pattern fee goes to the pattern maker in full minus the card processing fee, so the company earns nothing on a pattern order. It takes no commission from makers and runs no marketplace of 3D artists.
What can I make with Smasher Studio?
Product and on-model images, flat sketches, colorways, views from every angle and short videos of a garment, from a description or a photo. Production DXF patterns are cut by a professional pattern maker.
Will my designs be used to train AI?
We do not train models of our own on your uploads or your renders. To produce your results, your content is sent to the AI providers named in our Sub-Processor List; each handles it under its own terms, and some may retain it to improve their own models.
How is my data stored?
Generated files are stored encrypted on a distributed storage network, in a library private to your account. The security page explains who can access them and how to delete them.
Who draws the patterns?
A professional pattern maker, never the AI. The maker who claims your order authors the file, and the fee is set by the garment’s piece count before you pay.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. Two free renders, shared across all our tools. No account. Then 5 credits ($0.50) a render; a free account opens with a one-time welcome of 50 credits, then gets 15 credits a month.
