Step by step
- Show the cardigan from the front and the back, as an image or a photo.
- Give the measurements you want, or a size chart you already use.
- Name the cloth, because the pattern allows for its stretch and shrinkage.
- Review the pattern and cut a first sample from it.
A common mistake
Ordering a pattern before the cloth is chosen: a pattern drafted for a rigid cloth will not fit in a stretch one.
